Rain or Shine, We've Got Your Back
Southern California weather is usually on our side, but when it isn't, we make it easy. Here's how we handle rain, wind, and everything in between.
Weather Guidelines
Rain
Inflatables cannot be used in the rain. Wet surfaces create a slip hazard and water can damage electrical blowers. If you know rain is coming, let us know before we deliver and we can reschedule.
High Winds
We do not set up inflatables when sustained winds exceed 25 mph. Even properly anchored units can become unsafe in strong gusts. Safety always comes first.
Lightning & Storms
If lightning or a thunderstorm is in the area, all inflatables must be turned off and vacated immediately. We may coordinate early pickup if severe weather is expected.
Light Drizzle & Overcast
A little cloud cover won't stop the party. If it's overcast but dry, we deliver and set up as normal. A brief light drizzle? Just pause use until it passes, then carry on.
What Happens If It Rains?
We keep it simple. Here's what to expect depending on when the weather hits.
Before We Deliver
- If you know it's going to rain, let us know the day before or before we deliver on the day
- We'll work with you to find another available date at no extra charge
- The sooner you reach out, the easier it is to find a new date that works
After We Deliver
- Once equipment has been delivered, the rental stands — we cannot reschedule or refund for weather
- Light drizzle — pause use until it passes, then resume as normal
- Steady rain — turn off the blower and keep kids off the unit until it stops
- Severe weather — vacate the inflatable immediately and turn off power
The Short Version
Let us know the day before your event or before we deliver on the day, and we'll reschedule to another available date at no extra charge. Once the equipment has been delivered and set up, the rental is final and we cannot offer a reschedule or refund due to weather. We will not set up equipment in unsafe conditions.
Weather FAQ
What if it only rains for a little bit?
A brief drizzle is no big deal. Just pause use until the rain stops, towel off the surface if needed, and carry on. We only recommend stopping entirely if there's steady rain or unsafe conditions.
Can bounce houses get wet?
The material can handle some moisture, but wet surfaces are slippery and unsafe for jumping. Water slides are the exception — they're designed for water use. Standard bounce houses and combos should be dry before use.
When is the cutoff to reschedule?
You need to let us know the day before your event or before we deliver on the day. Once equipment has been delivered and set up, the rental stands and we cannot offer a reschedule or refund for weather.
Do you charge a fee to reschedule due to weather?
No — as long as you let us know before delivery, rescheduling is free. We'll find another available date that works for you.
